AARON CRUMBAUGH

Aaron has had a passion for food since he was a small child.  Although his initial career path after college (he graduated from Michigan State University) differed from the culinary industry, he realized several years later that he wanted to follow his dream of becoming a chef. Aaron is a graduate of California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena.  Upon graduating, he decided to move to Chicago because of its reputation for excellent restaurants and cuisine.  In Chicago,  Aaron was hired by The Peninsula, a prestigious and world famous hotel often ranked first in the country and top ten in the world.  He worked there for nearly 3 years. In 2008 Aaron opened Home Cooked Catering quickly growing into Chicago's premier in-home catering company.  In addition to his culinary expertise, Aaron’s experience includes working in Chicago, Miami, and LA as an actor and model.  His greatest adventure, however, was the opportunity to be on the Emmy winning show, The Amazing Race (season 6), with his wife Hayden. He has also appeared on Food Networks, Cutthroat Kitchen twice.  Aaron lives in Spokane with Hayden, their daughter Kaiya and son Cash.
